'Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue' is a Wildlife Charity that rescues, cares, and rehabilitates over 4000 sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals a year. We offer a 24-hour wildlife ambulance service and operate from our casualty centre based in Blewbury.

We rescue all species of wildlife here in the UK. Including tiny mice, foxes, badgers, owls, swans, hedgehogs, and deer. Working together with veterinary professionals, we care and rehabilitate our patients with the eventual aim to always release them back to the wild where possible. We've developed specialist techniques and practices for a wide variety of different species found here in the UK. This work has established 'OWR' as both a reliable and professional organization with integrity when it comes to wildlife care & rehabilitation.

Volunteering with us

Our wonderful team of volunteers are the backbone of the charity and its operations. Without them, we wouldn't be able to fulfil the care and treatment of our sick and injured patients.

Whether its caring for the patients within our wildlife hospital in Blewbury, answering the phone at reception or assisting our events team to help raise the vital income that funds our work, there is something for everyone!
