Volunteering with OWR
Without our volunteers, Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue could not continue to care for the sick, injured and orphaned wild animals that need our help. If you feel passionate about wildlife and want to go that extra mile in helping them, then please submit an application to volunteer at the Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue Service!

Our wildlife is currently under threat. The very nature of our work is about to be in so much demand, that our current facilities, staff and volunteers are going to be stretched beyond comprehension. We need to recruit like minded volunteers who wish to make a difference and provide Oxfordshire and Berkshire with a dedicated, professional medical service for sick and injured wildlife.
With the recent updates from the governments decisions to create further impact upon the environment, can only mean this situation is of the upmost urgency. If we loose our natural environments and the beautiful animals that call it their home, they will be gone forever. OWR and all its dedicated staff and volunteers are saying no. This will cause immense suffering on a level that is so extreme that should we choose to ignore or allow this to continue, the consequences will be beyond repair for good. Their lives matter, and OWR is stepping up to the task to provide a professional medical service to cater for the immense demand. But we need help. We need to build a bigger organisation, for the greater good.
Therefore, we are now recruiting volunteers, in order to build the service that's required of us. We have so many positions available, each requiring many different skill sets and interests.
But to name a few of the volunteer roles :
